Join us for the first Sip & Swap: The Book Edition, a relaxed social evening for book lovers hosted at our creative hub on Sadler Gate, Derby.

Bring 1-5 books you've enjoyed, discover new reads, enjoy a drink (or two!) and spend the evening meeting like-minded people in our creative community space.

Whether you're into fiction, design, biographies, poetry or graphic novels, every book has the chance to find a new home.

Your Ticket Includes

• Entry to the event.
• Bring 1–5 books to swap.
• Two complimentary drinks (wine, beer or a soft drink).
• A relaxed hosted evening 
• Access to our creative space and growing book collection.
• The opportunity to discover your next favourite read.

The Rules

Simply bring between one and five books in good condition.

For every book you bring, you'll receive a token to exchange for another book during the evening.

Before placing your books on the swap table, you'll be invited to write a short note inside the front cover explaining why you loved it. It's a small gesture that helps create a more personal connection between readers.

We've added a few extra touches to make the evening memorable:

- Blind Date with a Book – choose a mystery book wrapped in paper with only a few clues to tempt you.

- Personal handwritten recommendations inside donated books.

- A carefully curated playlist throughout the evening.

- A goody bag to take your new books home in!
